WT Celebrates 150 Years

In 1871, just 10 years after Abraham Lincoln was inaugurated the 16^th president, Wheeler & Taylor Insurance Agency opened their doors in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.  By the time the first automobile insurance policy was issued in the United States, Wheeler & Taylor had already been in business for decades. Since that time, many once great businesses have come and gone, but Wheeler & Taylor continues to stand strong, and has the distinction of being one of America’s oldest, continuously operated companies in the country.

In 2021, we are celebrating our 150th anniversary.  By continuing to stay true to our philosophy of providing outstanding service and value, we look forward to another 150 years!
