Commercial Insurance Producer

Wheeler & Taylor Insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Producer to join our Agawam team and help businesses throughout Hampden County protect what they have built and plan for future growth.

This role is designed for a relationship-driven professional who understands commercial insurance, enjoys developing new business opportunities, and wants the resources of an established independent agency behind them.

Successful commercial producers know that long-term growth requires more than strong sales skills. It requires access to competitive markets, experienced support teams, and a platform that allows producers to focus on relationships and business development.

Compensation

$50,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a pipeline of commercial insurance opportunities throughout Berkshire County
Build relationships with business owners, executives, and referral partners
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across a variety of industries
Conduct consultative conversations to understand client risks and insurance needs
Design and present commercial insurance solutions that align with client objectives
Collaborate with account management teams and carrier partners
Manage and grow an existing book of commercial business
Develop long-term relationships with clients and community partners
Stay informed on commercial insurance trends, products, and market conditions
Achieve production and growth goals

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Producer, Broker, or Account Executive
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management concepts
Experience generating new business opportunities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
Existing commercial relationships within Berkshire County or surrounding markets preferred
