Overview
Wheeler & Taylor Insurance is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Producer to join our Pittsfield team and help businesses throughout Berkshire County protect what they have built while supporting their continued growth.

This opportunity is designed for a relationship-driven professional with a proven track record of developing new business, building long-term client relationships, and delivering strategic commercial insurance solutions. Compensation
$50,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of new commercial business opportunities throughout the county.
• Build relationships with business owners, executives, and referral partners
• Conduct consultative risk assessments and recommend tailored commercial insurance solutions
• Present coverage options and risk management strategies with confidence and professionalism
• Collaborate with carrier partners and internal account management teams to structure competitive insurance programs
• Develop, manage, and grow a profitable commercial book of business
• Stay current on commercial insurance products, industry trends, and market conditions
• Meet or exceed production and business development goals while delivering exceptional client service

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Producer, Commercial Lines Producer, or Business Insurance Advisor
• Demonstrated success developing new business and managing client relationships
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management principles
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business development abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an experienced support team
• Existing relationships within the Berkshire County business community are a plus
