Commercial Insurance Producer
Overview
Wheeler & Taylor is looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Producer to join our team and help expand our commercial client relationships and business portfolio. This role is suited for a driven professional who excels at building trusted relationships, identifying business opportunities, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to organizations of all sizes.
The ideal candidate understands the commercial insurance marketplace, enjoys developing new relationships, and is looking for a platform that provides strong carrier access, internal support, and the opportunity to build a successful long-term book of business.
Compensation
$50,000 – $150,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of new commercial insurance opportunities
- Build relationships with business owners, executives, referral partners, and centers of influence
- Conduct needs-based consultations to identify business risks and insurance solutions
- Present commercial insurance options and recommendations clearly and confidently
- Collaborate with internal teams and carrier partners to structure and place coverage programs
- Maintain and grow an existing commercial book of business
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and cross-sell additional insurance solutions
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, underwriting requirements, and market conditions
- Meet or exceed production and growth goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience producing Commercial Property & Casualty insurance business
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and maintain client relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Experience advising business owners or commercial clients preferred
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a production-focused role
